Park is angry all throughout the day not only because they embarass Eleanor but he is alos affected. in the end, Eleanor just gave her her Father's number which he'll contact if she have not received a call from Eleanor. Eleanor memorized Park's number by heart but he still insisted that he wrote it hidden behing songs. in those moments, he felt like he wants to back off from what they have. Park is angry of people bullying Eleanor but he also feel like they are making fun of him too. Park saw the bad notes written for Eleanor. She got his number through memorizing it at the tune of a song. eleanor would be babysitting at her father's house and eleanor would get to use the phone and call Park. Eleanor received a call from his dad to watch matt and she'll get paid for babysitting. once finished, Park wanted to continue being with Eleanor. Park visited Eleanor at her house to read the new edition of Watchmen. Eleanor told her how much she loved the tapes and x-men. Eleanor realized that she like s Park because eventhough a lot of things happened, all she wanted was to see Park again. at gym, she was bullied by other girls when they put pads on her locker even in her clothes. now, eleanor have finally listened to the Smiths. park took his own and let her listen to the smiths using his device. at the bus, park gave her the tape but eleanor can't take it because she doesn't have a cassette player. ‘Because …’ he said quietly, looking at his desk, ‘because people want to remember what it’s like to be young? And in love?’Įleanor's mother got beaten by her stepdad but she couldn't do anything. Park made a mix tape for her of the Smiths and brought x-men comics books. Eleanor explained that they are her wishlist which are things she found interesting and have not heard of any smith song yet. he noticed the words written in her notebooks and saw a song by the smiths. park gave her sets of comics to read at home and the silence they have at the bus is less confrontational now. one day, at her stop, Park gave her the comics they were reading. eleanor would read the comics or eavesread the comic that Park brought. the bullying continues at school and at home eleanor still have problems with her stepfather. they do not talk but there is the usual awkwardness everytime they go home. she was on the bus and got nowhere to sit while everybody made fun of her because of her weight and weird clothes when an Asian kid named Park let her sit beside him. shes living with her mother and siblings and her new dad Richie. my very own nationalityĮleanor is a new kid. * thank you Rainbow for mentioning Filipino.
